Energy -positive or negative?

Is Energy truly positive or negative or is it just energy? The energy I referring to is the lifesource energy that comprises everything including our own energy. Do we produce negative energy? Does negative energy exist? Is God positive energy?

War of the tongue and cheek

People will always sat things that stir up controversy and bring emotions to the surface, but it's not what people say that is dangerous, it's what people hear to believe to be true that should cause concern. It's difficult to have a one man mob.

Energy used for more than healing

What I would like to look into and really experiment with is the use of our energy and our minds to see what else we can do other than just healing. My friend Bob Egwele and I did a plant experiment in our weekly energy group which was planting cilantro seeds in potting soil and not watering or giving it any sunlight. Our group watered and gave sunlight (and TLC) remotely via our energy. The photo below was the result of two weeks in a dark basement just sending energy.

Pretty amazing, right? Well this experiment wasn't so we can grow seeds in the dark without water, it was to prove what we are really capable of. Maybe we don't need oxygen or food or water. Maybe we can have a closer bond with our environment. What kind of crops can we grow on our energy and love alone? What would they taste like? The energy is here for use to explore our true nature and to shed all the impossibilities that surround us.
Here are some conclusions that I gathered from our experiment:

• We are not alone in this endeavor - this is not a single person's journey. We are all responsible for each other
• Love is stronger than perceived reality
• Anything is possible
• We truly create our environments and destinies
• It does not matter if it's physical matter or energetic matter, the living world doesn't know the difference

Why is grounding so important?

Grounding yourself to the earth energy and to this dimension is incredibly important. Part of our illnesses are part of our disconnection. Our moods and feelings are more instable and anxious when we are not properly grounded. Even if we are spiritually connected or have gifts of spirit, it is incredibly important to stay grounded. Grounding keeps our emotions even, our intuition keen, and our reactions balanced. When not grounded, you can be quick to anger, judgement and depression. Our intuition/instinct has been weakened by outside stimulus such as all the meaningless activities and distractions that we have been told is important, but we have many ways to reconnect to a world that we are out of touch with.
We may live in houses and in cities within concrete and metal high-rises or in suburbs surrounded by the a world that is never visited, but all humans need to be connected to the Earth mother. There are many simple ways to connect such as:

• Walking in the grass and mud barefoot.
• Working in the Garden.
• Spend your evenings outside.
• Be present with the tree energy around us.
• Build a fire and sit outside

If you live in the city, you must rely upon your mind's connection to the earth.

• Sit on a wooden chair or any chair and imagine that the chair's base is a tree stump that becomes part of you.
• Shift your awareness to your feet and imagine that the awareness is heading deep into the ground past all the roots, animals, crystals and mud.
• Imagine the place in your mind that you feel most connected to; it might be a real place or an imaginary one, it doesn't matter. The energy knows what you are trying to do.

With all these methods, always remember that we are all part of this Earth, and all it's wonders and natural phenomena's and always remember to breathe!

Tuesday Night energy group

We are starting a weekly energy group at Evolve every Tuesday. This should be great to be able to build an energy foundation and work with the different energies people bring each week. I'm pretty excited to start this and I'm looking forward to what it blossoms into.

Caught in the moment

I had placed a photo of myself on a bunch of advertising materials and websites, and then someone pointed out that that you can clearly see that I took the photo in the bathroom. That truly cracked me up. You can see the towel-bar in the background.

Chakra Chakra Chakra

We just finished our Chakra workshop at Evolve last Saturday, and followed was a very interesting discussion about how aware we are, how we are controlled and what is changing in ourselves and the people around us. Technology was a big part of our chakra discussion and how it is supposed to serve us, yet it dominates us. The bottom line is that the technology is currently surrounding material objects, and perhaps a different technology like energy or Chakras would serve all of us better. We looked at the Chakras as devices and the human body as a Yantra. We merged the root chakra mudra and the heart chakra mudra with our triangle of energy meditation. That was very cool.
Overall it was a passionate workshop, and I'm glad for the energy that we exchanged, because at the end of the day, it's always an exchange.

Getting out of our own way

The biggest roadblock and the solution to becoming more connected to each other and our souls are the same thing. It's ourselves. We stand in the way of what's possible and we are what is possible. We are all connected to an energy source that is intelligent and patient. We are not very patient as a people, but we are determined to be connected. Our way of live is at odds with our nature. We have so many ways to communicate with others, but we are not really saying anything beyond a surface level. We need to be more connected with our world and less connected to the devices we have that are the extensions of our lives. What is good especially about the social networks like facebook, is that is gives people an idea or an inkling of what it feels like to be part a much bigger group, and what is not so good is that it separates us from meaningful communications and interactions because most of what is being communicated is worthless.

Maybe it's because we've all been taught to not stand out, and not to be different, because different can be lonely. We must be honest about our interactions, and recognize when we are not living our truth. It is easier to ridicule another instead of stand up for someone, because there is a safety in being part of a group that is not getting that attention. If we are evolving it will get very uncomfortable for a lot of people and it will be a powerful transition for others.

Our 4-10-2010 workshop at Evolve

I am happy with our Chakra workshop that we did at Evolve on Saturday, even if we had technical difficulties with technology. It always better and funnier to rely upon Andreas' Chakra drawings than some fancy picture anyway. He cracked me up with drawings. We always have a great time working together.

I really appreciate everyone who came on such a beautiful day, and I can't hold anything against those who couldn't make it because it was so nice. Definitely a different vibe in Crystal Lake on a Saturday afternoon versus Crystal Lake on a rainy evening. I still love the downtown and all the cool shops like Evolve. Lake Zurich is pretty lame in comparison, but it's still home.

The minor chakras - what do they really do?

Out of all the Chakra related information on the internet and in some books, the minor Chakras seem to be either mysterious or not as important as it's neighbors. Even some of the drawings I've seen are pretty weak when they are represented. One had them like look like moles on the body.

From my observations in doing energy work, they are important, and still mysterious. They do seem to be connected to the heart chakra and they seem to be tools that the heart chakra uses, especially from an energy worker point of view. The minor chakras in the hands seem to be also connected to either a minor eye chakra or the big boy third eye chakra. They even might be part of the energetic evolution that is taking place in humans, which could be part of 2012 or it might not. Either way they are deserving of our attention and respect.
