Healthcare and politics

Our society is moving into a direction that makes some people uncomfortable. What people are afraid of is socialism, and losing their identity at the cost of taking care of everybodys needs. We are motivated by our beliefs, and the unyielding will to stand up for ideals that we cling to. This society cannot function in the future if it can't sustain all of it's members with the same rights and services afforded to those who can afford it. History has been unkind to socialism, but the truth is that people have been unkind to history and other people as well. Capitalism was a start for America, but it is not a way that can grow with the changing populace. The left and the right need to shed their differences and all must realize that we need to take care of one and another. HMOs clearly are not the answer. They are for ONLY for profit, and because of that; they are truly the Nazi death squad that people accept and also compensate. I have not seen any opposition to this evil.

The world is changing and we can't turn a blind eye to greed and citizens losing everything to acquire basic health needs. It may not be right for awhile or work perfectly, but it is our future and we should embrace it.
